INVENTORY OF NATURAL WETLANDS OF KERALA
OBJECTIVES
1. To carry out the inventory of natural wetlands on 1:5000
scale using recent cartosat data and collection of ecological database of the wetlands
2. Database generation of themes such as administrative boundary, road/rail network
and drainage
3. Organise the digital database in GIS
4. Development of an information system for retrieval of data for easy access by
planners
